I create macramé that resists staying in one place—moving between intricate, delicate jewelry and bold, abstract fiber work. My pieces explore contrast, tension, and controlled chaos, blending precision with instinct to push the boundaries of traditional knotwork into something more raw, modern, and expressive.

I have been painting for a couple of years since I retired. I enjoy painting with various media and a diverse set of subject matter. However, I am drawn to landscape and outdoor scenery. I am sure my art will continue to change and evolve as I learn from others and employ new techniques.

I am a retired broadcast meteorologist who now enjoys being behind the camera, searching for the interplay of shadow and light.

Patrick believes that there should be an internal relationship between making a piece of art and the artist. It is important however, that the work draws in the viewer to complete this visual process. “Images need to emotionally engage both maker and viewer.”

I use both hand and power tools to build heirloom quality keepsake boxes and fine furniture.

As an abstract, intuitive mixed media painter, Carrie approaches each canvas without predetermined outcomes, allowing intuition to guide composition and color relationships. Layering is central to her work, rooted in spontaneity, responding to the moment rather than a rigid plan. Each piece evolves through layered textures, expressive marks and vibrant colors which she hopes activates a feeling in the viewer.

Nicole Conner is a Wisconsin-based artist known for expressive animal portraits. Her work is inspired by a lifelong connection to animals and a background in fine art and design. Each piece is created with care and intention, focusing on capturing the unique character and emotional presence of her subjects.

I love all gods creatures, they bring joy and meaning to my life. So, no surprise I enjoy painting them, along with portraiture, landscapes, and still life.

Cedarburg, Wisconsin has been Christine’s home for 20 years. Her love of nature and architecture influences her art. With each painting, a new journey of discovery begins. Watercolor is a medium that gives endless
opportunities to learn more.

I call myself a watercolorist. I feel there’s enough to learn with that medium and I’m sticking to it. I love color and love to layer and layer my colors to obtain muted tones. Initially I painted mainly florals but have branched out to include city scales, house structures and some children’s portraits. I also call myself a dabbler but can claim to paint practically daily.

Martha draws inspiration from nature, travel and her life experiences especially the ones involving her grandchildren. Martha finds peace while creating striving to instil a sense of calm, serenity or joy.
