Exploring the Balance Between Illumination and Mystery. The Cedarburg Artist Guild proudly presents "Light & Shadow," where members delve into the dynamic interplay of light and shadow, utilizing it not only as a visual technique but also as a means of storytelling, mood, and emotional depth. From gentle glows to dramatic contrasts, the featured works showcase how light reveals—and how shadows conceal—drawing the viewer into moments both vivid and mysterious.
Understanding how light interacts with form is crucial for creating three-dimensional depth and a compelling composition. Through this theme, artists explore the subtleties of reflected light, the richness of deep shadows, and the quiet drama that exists between brightness and obscurity.
Whether cast by a morning sun or the flicker of candlelight, "Light & Shadows" invites you to experience the world in contrast, where form, feeling, and perspective are shaped by illumination and the shadows it leaves behind.

Become a member, fill out the artist contract/inventory form,
then drop off your fabulous work.
The form must be complete and accompany your artwork.
Artwork drop-off/pick-up is always the Tuesday after the previous exhibition's closing, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
If you’ve sold any work, then Yay!
You can expect a check to be issued from the CCC in about in about 45 days
