Cocktails and Needle Felting:  Sleepy Squirrel with Justine Heinrichs 

Thursday, April 9:  6 PM to 9 PM

Join us in this fun exploration of fiber art! Learn the highly meditative art of needle felting as you create this sweet sleeping squirrel while sipping a beverage of your choice. Participants will use barbed needles to create this adorable sculpture. Participants will learn 3D needle felting techniques that are the building blocks of 3D sculptures, wrapping armature wire, building a solid base of wool, creating shapes to apply to a sculpture, and applying a colored coat.  Justine provides demonstrations and individualized attention throughout the workshop to ensure success. No prior felting experience is needed. The first beverage is included in the class fee. All materials are provided; an additional $15 materials fee is due to the instructor at the time of class.
